What to Expect

Participants learn skating fundamentals, puck handling, passing, shooting, and basic team concepts. Each 90 minute practice ends with a small area game or scrimmage. Sessions are run by experienced adult coaches who understand how to develop adult beginners at a comfortable pace. No previous playing experience is required.

Equipment

Full hockey equipment is required. If you are new to the sport, we can assist with new and used equipment recommendations and fittings through our local partners. Rental equipment may be available depending on availability for certain sessions.

The Pathway

The main goal of our program is to see participants continue their hockey careers once they leave our program. Most Adult Learn to Play participants move onto our adult skills and drills program and then into our adult beginner's league. Our staff can guide new players through the adult development pathway so that each player can continue to grow in the game at their own pace.
